This petri dice set is a true showstopper — a 9-piece extended kit unlike anything else. There's a lot going on with these dice, so where do we begin? The blanks were first cast using a rough petri method that worked beautifully! Pink and yellow are beautifully mixed using the petri method. This was one of our methods to avoid a common problem with petri dice — soft sides. We were able to achieve a stronger Petri effect by recasting these blanks into shells. Unfortunately, our early blank molds only included a single D20. Fortunately, the second D20 ended up looking like a sparkly fireball in the middle of ignition (including a little bit of vapor around the 1). The shell-and-blank method VERY successfully prevented soft petri edges. Grab them while they're in stock — they're another true one-of-a-kind set.
About This Petri Dice Set
This set was crafted using a multi-step blank and shell casting process. First, we poured the blanks using a petri technique to create stunning pink and yellow swirls. Then, we re-cast those blanks inside fresh shells to lock in the petri effect and eliminate soft edges. The result is a crisp, vivid set of polyhedral dice with bold color movement throughout every face. Each die in this kit was hand-poured, hand-sanded, and hand-polished individually. No two sets will ever look exactly alike, making this a truly unique collector's piece.

The extended 9-piece configuration includes extras beyond a standard 7-piece set, giving you more options at the table. This set is made from durable epoxy resin, polished to a smooth, glass-like finish. Colors remain vivid over time and resist chipping with normal use. This is a one-of-a-kind set — once it's gone, it's gone for good.

This reaction causes the mixture to cure and solidify into a hard, glass-like substance, typically within 24 to 72 hours, depending on the brand and temperature.
Epoxy resin is valued for its ability to capture fine details and produce sharp edges and smooth surfaces, making it ideal for precision dice molds. Makers often add pigments, alcohol inks, mica powders, glitter, dried flowers, or small objects (called inclusions) to create layered effects or unique designs within the dice. Once fully cured, epoxy resin dice are strong, polished, and chipping-resistant, making them both beautiful and durable for frequent gameplay.
