We were able to achieve a stronger Petri effect by recasting these blanks into shells. Unfortunately, our early blank molds only included a single D20. Fortunately, the second D20 ended up looking like a sparkly fireball in the middle of ignition (including a little bit of vapor around the 1). The shell-and-blank method VERY successfully prevented soft petri edges.
